
Professional, Academic & Curatorial Practice
Corinna Ghaznavi is an independent curator and freelance writer based in Canada. Since 1997, she has curated exhibitions across the country, working with artists, institutions, and public spaces.
Her writing has been published in Canadian and European art magazines, as well as in numerous exhibition catalogues. In 2011, she completed a PhD focused on the question of the animal in contemporary art.
From 2012 to 2015, Ghaznavi served as Artistic Director of the Fabulous Festival of Fringe Film in Durham, Ontario. She was also Public Art Coordinator for the City of Markham from 2013 to 2017.
Ghaznavi has taught art history, theory, and curatorial practices at Georgian College, the University of Western Ontario, Sheridan College, and OCAD University.
